Inspired by a writing prompt, 52 words is a deck of 52 words connected only by the fact that they arose when prompted to write 100 words as quickly as possible without really thinking about it (as least at a conscious level). Each word is printed along with a symbol representing an abstract meaning for that word. Behind the word and symbol is a faintly present sentence expressing a feeling attached to both word and symbol. The book is chunky and somehow friendly. It makes a clacking staccato noise when picked up and played like a Slinky.
